How To Get To Iceland

Most international airlines fly into Keflavik Airport in the southwest of Iceland. From there, you must make your way north.

To Siglufjördur

By plane

Departure from the Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Akureyri (1 hour flight). Check Icelandair for flights.

By bus

First, take the 57 bus from BSÍ or Mjódd Bus Station to Akureyri Hof stop (6 hours). You can check the timetable at www.straeto.is. Then, take the 78 bus from Akureyri to Siglufjörður Olis stop (1 hour). You can check the timetable at www.straeto.is.
